Joshua Russell has performed as a pianist, organist, and conductor throughout the United States, Europe, and Haiti. Regarded as an expert on the piano music of Haiti, Dr. Russell recently performed an encore recital of Haitian piano music at the Haitian Embassy in Washington, D.C., at the invitation of the Haitian Ambassador to the United States. He was featured as a guest artist at the Liszt-Garrison International Piano Competition in Baltimore and performed in Hollywood, California at the San Gennaro Festival of Los Angeles. Joshua is scheduled to perform at the 2010 National Festival of the American Liszt Society.

Liszt-Garrison International Piano Competition Invitation
I was just invited to serve as "Guest Co-Chair" for the 2011 Liszt-Garrison International Piano Competition and Festival in Baltimore, Maryland. I performed at the 2009 Festival as a guest artist and was also asked to return in 2011. I am very excited to be involved with this wonderful event. Last year's theme was "At the Heart of Nations," which celebrated music around the world. 2011 will celebrate the Role of Musicians and Artists in helping to develop a better community.
